Principal
Josh Neufeld is a comic
book artist and illustrator. He is the author of A.D.: New Orleans After
the Deluge, a graphic novel(ization) of the stories of six real New Orleans
residents and their encounters with Hurricane Katrina. A.D. was serialized
on SMITH magazine and will be published by Pantheon in summer 2009.
He is a Xeric Award recipient, an Ignatz Award nominee, and a founding member
of the online comix collective ACT-I-VATE.
Josh has contributed to anthologies published by (among others) Vertigo, Fantagraphics,
Dark Horse, Top Shelf, StripBurger, and SPX. His comics and strips have also
appeared in daily newspapers, alternative weeklies, financial magazines, literary
journals, museum exhibition catalogs, and many other venues.

Sari Wilson is
a New York-based writer and editor. Her comics have been published in SMITH’s
New Door Neighbor series, Keyhole, and Maxine; her fiction has
appeared in literary journals including Agni and Slice,
and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a recipient of a Stegner
Fellowship and a Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center fellowship. A specialist
in comics and education, she coaches teachers on integrating comics writing
into an English and writing curriculum.
